About Me

My name is Turner Jacob Otto Anderson. I was born and raised in Palm Springs, California, with two sisters who happened to be born one and two minutes before me. During my senior year of high school, after water polo season was over, I discovered climbing in Joshua Tree National Park and was instantly hooked. In August 2012, I moved up north to study mechanical engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. Now, in my last year of undergraduate studies, when I’m not in class, working on projects, or participating in club events, I spend as much time as possible climbing, skiing, scuba diving, running, and just generally being outdoors. However, if you ask my friends, they’ll tell you that I spend all my time studying.
